The Rousonelos Family Connection

Bordering the Honiotes farm (Troy Road at Midland Ave) on the west was the Rousonelos farm.  Eleni (Gripari) Honiotes was a sister of Katerno (Gripari) Rousonelos. "Thea Katherine" and her husband Costadinos (Gus) were the parents Ann (Scarapoulos), Marina "Marge" (Apostolou), Zaharula (Sugar) DeJarld, and brothers Pete, Marko (Mike) Andy, and Anastasios (Stan.)  According to cousin Marina, her grade school teacher thought her name sounded too ethnic so she started calling her Marge. She's been "Marge" ever since.
